High School Assessments

High school students take assessments to determine if they are ready for college and/or careers, as well as to secure postsecondary credit and access. In 2020-2021, Louisiana will administer LEAP 2025 high school assessments, which report student results using five performance levels. There are six subject tests from four subject areas: English, mathematics, science and social studies. The assessments can be compared to LEAP 2025 assessments in grades three through eight, providing a consistent measure of student performance and growth from grades three through eleven.
