About the Clearinghouse
As part of Louisiana’s Comprehensive Literacy Plan, the Louisiana Department of Education provides the Clearinghouse of Supplemental and Intervention Reading Products to educators as a resource for identifying products to support students in reading. The list of 396 products contains 55 products for Early Childhood, 345 products for Elementary and 216 products for Adolescent age groups (some products address the needs of multiple age groups). The Department of Education does not endorse or promote any of these products. The Clearinghouse is neither a pre-qualified list of products nor an all-inclusive list of available products. Local school districts must follow applicable federal, state, and local procurement statutes, regulations, and policies when purchasing any of the products included in the Clearinghouse. The information in the clearinghouse is not to be deemed by local school districts as any conclusive pre-determination by the Department of Education regarding local districts' purchase of these products.
