BATON ROUGE, La. - The Center for Research on Education Outcomes (CREDO) at Stanford University today released a 26-state study finding charter schools across the country are making gains. Louisiana was among eleven states where charter school performance outpaced traditional public school growth in both subjects. Louisiana charter schools students also had significant days of learning gained in comparison to traditional public schools- 50 in reading and 65 in math. To view the full report click here.
