Louisiana Virtual School
The Louisiana Virtual School allows students to take individual online courses in English, math, history, foreign language and computer science.
Students should check with their guidance counselors to enroll in an online course offered by the Louisiana Virtual School. High schools award credit for courses taken through the Louisiana Virtual School. Course instructors issue a mid-term progress report and final letter grade, which is sent to the home school.
The program is offered through a partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education and the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts. For more information, please visit the Louisiana Virtual School (LVS).
