Louisiana Best Practices Trainings

Louisiana Best Practices Trainings for ILT & Teacher Collaboration are offered to systems for leadership team members who have not completed the Level 1 and 2 foundational trainings. These are offered in both virtual and regional on-site sessions.

Instructional Leadership Teams (ILT) consist of leaders who serve in various capacities within the school who engage in collaborative actions to build capacity and make decisions to improve teaching and learning.

Teacher Collaboration (TC) promotes teacher development by providing teachers with weekly, job-embedded learning that is facilitated by a skilled educator to meet the needs of students.

Teacher Standards Support involves the use of a set of standards that inform and measure teaching skills, knowledge, and responsibilities.
